Brand New Hip Hop sits down with rising Los Vegas, NV stationed rap sensation $hynePhre$h for a one on one exclusive hip hop interview to discuss live shows, his opinion on Astroworld, the future and more!

 

 

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  How are you enjoying the holidays $hynePhre$h? 

$hynePhre$h:  They kool. Just a bunch of money being spent. Nothing new.

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  How is everything looking for 2022?  What are your plans?

$hynePhre$h: It’s looking really good so far. I plan to be on top of the world by mid 22.

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP: Do you have any live shows lined up for 2022?  If so, what dates and where?

$hynePhre$h:  Unfortunately I have no live shows lined up.

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  How is $hynePhre$h live?  What can people expect from you when they watch you perform live?

$hynePhre$h:  You can expect nothing short of bizarreness. Everything I do goes crazy. Expect motherfuckers to be jumping like a trampoline.

 

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  What makes you different from other performers when it comes to your stage show?

$hynePhre$h: I’m not solely looking to just satisfy the crowd. I’m coming in to be me and to DO me. It’s about me having fun. Hopefully, they enjoy the manifestation.

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  What has been one of the wildest experiences that took place at one of your concerts?

$hynePhre$h:  No wild experiences besides the crowd just going crazy over the turnup.

 

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  What is your opinion on the Astroworld incident and thoughts on Travis Scott?

$hynePhresh:  People are just greedy for gain, and the press wants a scapegoat. Could’ve happened to anyone. No way one man can restrain 100,000 people. So it’s nonsense. Guy’s an entertainer. He just did his job, and if that’s exciting a riot, for sure rock ‘n’ roll needs to be shut down. Let’s talk about that

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP: If you were in Travis Scott's situation, what would you have done?

$hynePhre$h: It is totally nothing he could’ve done. And the same thing would’ve gone for me.

 

 

 

BRAND NEW HIP HOP: How do you feel about your latest single "Ugly" taking off and getting a lot of attention from blog sites and web publications?

$hynePhre$h:  I feel great. It’s awesome. I have no complaints.

BRAND NEW HIP HOP: What singles or projects do you plan to release in 2022?

$hynePhre$h:  Ain’t no telling. Just got to stick around and see.

BRAND NEW HIP HOP:  Do you have any shout outs?

BRAND NEW HIP HOP VIDEO: "The Concerto" by The ZYG 808

“The Concerto” is the debut solo single by hip-hop artist The ZYG 808, from his forthcoming album “The Intro”. The ZYG 808 first came to national attention as a member of the Grammy nominated band, The GroovaLottos as well as his verse on the Soul Poet’s Syndicate’s track and music video “Flippin”.

An unapologetic Boom Bap Backpack artist, his lyrical content and style together with his knack for unusual song forms (The Concerto is in three distinct sections, with no bridge) sets him apart from most of the others in the game. ‘808’ is a reference to the classic drum machine, and his unique ability to rap and play drums at the same time, astounding audiences up and down the east coast.

At the age of 7, The ZYG 808 made his debut as a studio session player. By age 12, he was headlining the Boston Jazz Fest as a jazz fusion drummer. At age 13, he joined the multi-Grammy nominated band The GroovaLottos as a percussionist and featured MC.

The ZYG 808 is definitely an upcoming artist to watch.
